Hi everyone, I'm sorry my first post here is an annoying lame newbie question, you all probably know the answer as easy but any assistance will be appreciated.

I have an XDA Mini S (Wizard).. I've just bought a Bluetooth USB Adapter (Bluesoleil) http://bluesoleil.com/ and I'm having issues connecting.

What I can do:
* I have successfully paired my XDA to my PC
* I am able to send vcf cards from my PC to my phone (using the software installed with the USB Dongle

What I can't / would like to do
* Unable to Sync ActiveSync via bluetooth
* Unable to access the PAN network

There's loads of other features included but it's only the aforementioned I'm interested in for now.

Troubleshooting Info:
* PC: Windows XP SP2
* PC: MS ActiveSync V. 4.0.0 (Build 4358)
* PC: BlueSoleil 1.6.1.4 Release 050606
* PPC: WM5
* PPC: Bluetooth switched on
* PPC: PPC is discoverable to other devices
* PPC: PPC connects via COM6

If you need any other information to help me, please ask away and thanks in advance for your help..

Chrono..

I have the same problem only with a AVM Blue Fritz dongle.
When I want to sync i have to make a partnership with de blue tooth dongle but when i wanted to do that the only thing to choose is a serial connection and no Activesync!!

Is there anyone who know a solution for this problem??

I know the dongle works with this MDA Vario because i got it one time to work.... :(

Solved the problem...

For those that have the same issues, the following may help you.

* On your PC, open ActiveSync
* Go to Connection Settings
* Un-check: Allow USB Connections

There seems to be a lot more too it such as setting up your device to connect via a serial port and stuff. If there's a demand for the answer, I'll write up my connection settings for others to view..

No that didn't solve the problem for me....

When I uncheck USB and choose for COMM 6 then Activesync is trying too connect but comes up with a message that the device can't be reconised so connect again...

Hi Marvie
you will need assign for activesync port-A or port-b (see this value in the bluesoleil program property), in my case this value equal to com12
after that you pair two device and discovery services, and PPC find ActiveSync port on your PC. only after that you'll get a connection with PC :)

now i have a connection with my big PC via BT and have an internet connection via satelite and i write this post on my k-jam

Beg pardon for my english :(

i think i answer to you question
