1. Download new ROM from http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=ROMVersions or http://www.romkitchen.de
2. Make a hard reset of your device
3. Reconnect your device via ActiveXync (You can use guest partnership)
4. Run the downloaded exe file an follow the instructions.

No. That will release an earthquake in China.......

You´ve asked for Upgrading to WM2003 and got the answer.

Sorry if my question is stupid but I recently bought a T-Mobile XDA and it was sim locked. I unlocked it using the xda-developers special rom and now I'm looking for update to WM2003SE (if possible). I followed the link that Stefan posted and found a lot of rom updates there. Only I don't know if I use one of these will my phone lock again. Also, what does the "Opearator" column mean? My operator is not listed and I would like my new software to be universal - not dependent on any operator......

Upgrading ROM or Radio Version will not change the stat, that the device is unlocked.....

Operator Conig is the Config-Files from the operator. So if your operator is not listed, you could use a device without operator config.
The operator config is mostly used for the autoconfiguration of the device (GPRS, WAP, ...)

Thank you very much, Stefan. I will try it tonight. I think I can always switch it back to the xda-developers version if I don't like the 2003..... Can I? Also, what should I install in order to make my Wallaby ring using mp3 files? Thanks again.
