sms backup for windows mobile

I hope somebody can help me with backing up my sms from my i-mate to microsoft outlook or equivalent?
i dont like the normal backup because it backs up everything and even i can not rely on,
Ihope i can get a solution like the way i backup my contacts to MS Outlook
