Hi Everyone.... first post here, but I have been "lurking" for a while. (the info here has been so useful)

I'm looking for a little advice..... I have an O2 XDA Exec (1 week old), and when I first had it, I started it with the personal boot up profile.... it was tooooo slow, and I saw mention on here of the "Corporate" setting (using a password).... I found there is a menu option to switch from one mode to the other, and I have done this, but I am now thinking.... should I have hard reset the XDA rather than switching modes?
Do I have a load of "stuff" in memory that I dont need?

In case its important:
Rom:1.13.82 WWE
Radio: 1.04.02
Ext ROM: 1.13.188 WWE

I've also just noticed a load of files in the Windows directory on the XDA that I do not recognise... with DSM and RGU extensions.... the file names are really long like... e3d5a498-ccb1-413acs-fa34cdc-b4b3bba.rgu - can I delete them?
There are also about 14 files called cab1_OK.txt up to cab14_OK.txt... as these are just txt files, I assume I can delete these safely???

Sorry for being such a dunce... but I'm trying to understand what is and isn't OK on the machine.... I'm not sure I understand the difference between program and storage memory (and persistent storage).... if anyone can point me at something that helps me understand, I'd be really grateful.
Ta
