Yup, when you open the camera, there is a settings button on the bottom right part of the screen (in laptop mode). Click on it, there should be a setting somewhere which lets you save the pictures to the SD card. Unfortunately I don't have it with me right now to tell you exactly where, but its easy to find :)

If you open the camera you then go to the settings (second icon from the right) this will bring up the setting page. On the bottom left you will see the "Tools" option. Go to Tools>Options>General tab, you can then choose where to save your photos/videos by using the pull-down menu.
