Wizard Can't connect to the internet through PC

I have a new wizard and also had this same problem w/ my Jam. When connecting over Activesync via USB I cannot connect to my Exchange Server (works fine OTA). I also can't connect to the internet from IE.
TCPIP is checked on the network connection
Passthrough is enabled.
"This computer is connected to the Internet"
What am I missing?

not sure about wizard but with my himalaya
i just choose the my network connection insted of the my isp connection
in system->connections-.....

mine works.

qtek9100->usb->laptop(xp pro sp2)-any internet connections(wireless or line)

check if you use the latest version of ActiveSync (probably 4.1).

also use Network Connection (PC) to check if there's a device named something like "Windows mobile based device" installed and the device driver is updated.

ActiveSync\Connection Settings...\This computer is connected to: "The Internet"
