Dopod 838 Flash CHT to WWE [Archive]

Hi all,
I wish flash my Dopod 838 CHT (HK) to Dopod 838 WWE (HK) ROM, anyone can tell me how to do? and where I can download the ROM? And than, how flash back to CHT if want to repair? Thank you very much.

You can download the WWE ver of 838 in the FTP.
also is it possible to get the 838 HK flash for me from dopod site?

make sure you have your CID unlocked before upgrading rom.

can you please share the CHT rom from 838? people up here been searching for it.

Hi weasley, thanks for your reply. Yes, I already download the WWE ROM from ftp. But I found the version is older than my CHT. Now I have two questions and wish can help.
1. how can flash to WWE ROM? Is this ROM full set included OS+ExtROM+Radio....? can you provide steps because my one is CHT?
2. my 838 have some problem because the touch screen always need re-alignment. Service Center help me re-flash ROM one time but this problem still here! This is hardware or software problem?

- run option 'u'
- run option 'b'
- zip the files at c:\awizard\rom\%NameOfRom% to a file

Since you had own the 838 u can simply register on dopod site with ur imei, this give u access to download any update of the rom.

yes, already register. but no update found.
