I just bought the HTC SDA from t mobile. The issue is that i can see WiFi access points but im un able to connect to them. ive taken all the steps to resolve the problem and cant seem to figure out the problem. It simply wont connect. Ive been on the phone for hours with HTC and done just about everything except update software/firmware for the wifi. If anyone has any clue it would be great to her any suggestions. :?

Are the access points 802.11A? the other question is, if they are 802.11B/G, are they set to G only? (If so, set them to B + G)

Well i thought about that but thats not the problem i can even connect to b routers granted i do have a router that pretty much top of the line but i even have it set to just b abd im still having trouble. furthermore i cant even connect to t-mobile hot spot wifi connections. there has got to be some issue with a driver because its runn mobile windows 5. if you think that its something else i would gladly try it. if check proxy settings of and on, everything. ive even been on on the phone with HTC for an hour :x

Apparently there is some type of security feature that t-moble put in th phone so that you must connect to a t-mobile hot spot location because as soon as i connected to the hot spot locationi went home and was magicly ble to connect to my wifi. of cours the incompitent folks at tmobile were unable to supply mew with this info i stumbled upon it on accident. hope that this solves any problems for others
