I tried the charger of the Vario, the charger of my GPS, ... I removed and replaced the battery,...

I have the feeling the battery "decharged" completely after which it's not possible anymore to charge it ... (if should think this is not possible).

On the other hand ... let's say the battery is dead ... is it then normal that the "charge led" doesn't lightt up?

I hope so because otherwise it's not a dead battery but a defect in the Vario and as it's unlocked I cannot return it under warranty (cannot relock it in this situation).

This device is just a couple of weeks old ... :x :x :? :(

I think I read someplace that once the battery is DEAD, you can not charge it via USB and can only charge it with the charger. And once you plug it in, you have to turn it on for it to charge.

Or something like that...
