Hi there,
I'm experiencing this after I got Goodlink installed on my Wizard. If I hit the touchpad, the screen goes white for an instant, then the desktop is built up again and I can use the device normally. However, if I don't touch the screen for, say, 10 sec, and then I do it again I have the same nice effect.
Anyone experiencing the same? any suggestion (beyond removing goodlink  )?
Many thanks
Marco
i have never seen this problem on mine, sorry i can't help

I'm unaware of Good... but if you are using the Cingular 8125, I suggest you switch your firmware. 8125's firmware is really slow.
After I changed my Rom to Button's custom ROM, things been a lot snappier.
G'luck.

Hi jklny,
I have a Vofadone-branded Wizard, not sure what firmware it has. What is this Button's custom ROM you are mentioning?
thanks

Best ROM I used so far... very stable and appears snappier than the built it one from Cingular.

I have the exact same issue, but I don't know if it's because of goodlink or because of the registry hacks I made to improve speed. Have you done any of the hacks?

Hi malencar,
I did some of the hacks, but *after* installing Goodlink SW, so it has to be Goodlink causing the issue. The latest version (I believe 4.0.27) does not officially support the wizard, it will with a version coming out probably next week. Hope this issue will be solved.
Other thing I noticed today: the calendar entries in the today screen are broken, any clue?
regards
Marco
might be your version, I have 4.7.0.25 installed and have no problems.

I have had the same problem too. However i read in another forum that someone noticed this was more to do with the password protection beinng turned on that with good. Password is mandated by my good install so i have no way of testing. You might give it a try.
