I after loosing my XDA2i just after 5 days of buying. now looking to an other phone. please guide what to buy. I have following options

1) XDA2i
2) I-Mat KJam
3) PDA2K
4) Nokia 7710 (smart phone)

i really disappointed from the camera results of XDA2i , it had only 1 plus point that was 520 Mhz processor.

can you please share your experience now which i should buy from above.

2nd can anyone please tell me what Nokia 7710 cant do which PDAs can do. in other words what a PDA has more + points from a smart phone like N7710 or SE P910i etc

my preferences are quick typing over IM and good quality camera.

Please guide , i don’t want to waste more money with in 1 month.

Stay away from XDA2i, PDA2k - these are old models. Camera on older PDAs is NOT very good. I-mate K-Jam runs Windows Mobile 5, which has a great benefit compared to the older models, when the battery is empty on the older models, all information is lost. On WM5 based PDAs you will not experience this. The i-mate K-Jam has unfortunatelly only an Texas Instrument 200 MHz processor, a bit slow..besides that this is a nice PDA.

I had the XDAII, now the universal

my colleague has the Imate JAM, and two other colleagues the K Jam

You really have to ask what you want. K Jam as built in WIFI - big plus. Universal has video conferening and WIFI. K Jam and Universal have hard keyboards built in.

The others that are listed have an older rom version. if you are going to buy an expensive phone, pay a bit more and get the latest model and operating system.

with the kjam, yes the processor is slower, but having briefly used it, doesnt represent that much of an impact, but provides much longer battery life. The processor is "tweaked" somehow by the manufacturer, so unless you are going to really use it, hack it, and put it under load, then consider the universal with the faster processor.

cant comment on the nokia, except that its nearly as big as the universal with less functions.
