The most annoying thing ever!

The bloody app/programs window wont close!!

And not even hitting the k/b win logo > Today will work either.
Not even magic button works - only a soft reset will do it . then you are waiting till you either use the phone or venture stupidly into MyPrograms

Bloody infuriating..

anyone have a solution?

cheers guys,

LR

The phone app works best if you mark it as "Keep Alive" and "Don't show when inactive" in Magic Button. I've seen the "Programs" issue you mentioned, but selecting "Today" always gets rid of it for me.

Cheers,

Steve.

Did you guys found a solution on the small blank square spot on the upper right hand corner of the screen where the OK button lies when using Magic Button?

No problem with Magic Button...

For killing phone app, I found 2 utilities working...
First Xbar3...let you show the phone app and a trick to kill it.
Second one...http://www.vijay555.com/index.php?Releases:VJPhoneToggle works on 2003se and 2005 Qtek 9000.

Curious. Why would you want to close the Phone app?
Isn't it the whole point of the device?

If you use your pocketphone more as a pda than a phone, the phone app takes somme Mb of memory... Really closing it after a call give you the possibility to take some precious Mbytes back for running programs...

VJOkButt also has a specific option, -phclose, to close the phone after each use - very useful when assigned to the red hangup key with AEButtonPlus.

Note, closing the phone doesn't stop the phone ringing, so does save you some memory without sacrificing the phone's functionality, but it does cause a minor incompatibility - trying to dial from Contacts may crash out.
However, in day to day use I don't recommend closing the phone unless you're really tight on mem.

No problem with Magic Button...

Actually, it is not a problem but an aesthetic concern on my part. I am not using any skin program. The last time I tried Magic Button, if I am at the today screen with no open application, the location on the upper right hand corner where the "OK" button is shows a blank square. I was just wondering if I am the only one who had this oddity.

I have no skinning soft and I don't have a blank square... The color of that part of the taskbar, when nothing written, is the same than the rest of the bar. But I read stuffs like yours on other forums...

I just tried Magic Button again, and no blank square. HOOOORRRRRAYYYY! I wonder what made that skin problem in the first place...

I can't seem to find this option in Magic Button. Can you please direct me on how?
