Transporting SMS messages to new device

Hi all,

In two weeks I´m moving from an Orange M1000 to an Orange M3000. I´d like to keep my SMS messages, stored on the M1000 and move them to the M3000.

I´ve found the messages in the WINDOWS\MESSAGING section of my backup file using STGVIEWER. Is it enough to simply restore that directory to the new device?

Please forgive if this has already been asked. I searched but couldn´t find anything...

Thank you for the links, but they all refer to making backups of the messages. I am not sure whether these tools cover the move of my messages from my M1000 (WM2003) to my M3000 (WM2005).

Please advise
