View Full Version : which external (bt/ir/usb) keyboards are compatible?

I have a T-mobile vario, and was thinking of getting an extra folding keyboard (so I can type faster); does anyone know of one that would be compatible with any of the HTC wizard variations? Found one post re: bluetooth; anyone know any others? Ideally IR (cheaper than bluetooth) or, even better, usb (if that would work)?

thanks,

sorry - didn't mention, the post I found mentioned that the Logitech DiNovo works - which is a promising sign, but its too expensive. And not very portable.

the stowaway bt keyboard is by far my favourite
although it' more expensive than other keyboards, it's worth it
great battery life too

i have a freedom keyboard (bt) running with a qtek 9100 and rom 2.8. it does work and i paid it 89USD. moderately satisfied (mechanics is not great), probably improved with the freedom II.

I have to ask why you'd want to lug a keyboard around when there's one built in to the device :P

because they built-in keyboard isn't good for long pieces of writing
say, you're listening to a lecture, you won't be able to type on the thumb board as a keyboard, and it wouldn't be fun to type on the thumb board for 2 hours straight
