XDA EXEC and TOMTOM Navigator

Hi am now the proud owner of an XDA Exec thanks to O2, however I am puzzed why tomtom will not suppot this device. I own both Navigator 5 and maps of europe. I was advised that TomTom would work on a Jar Jar Imate and as the 02 xda exec was the same I thought I should work. How wrong was I!!. I downloaded the update 5.21 and I installed it on to my XDA. As expected it asked for an activation code and I proceeded to use my product code. This failed due to the fact that I had already installed the software on two previous devices i owned. I Rang tomtom for support and they asked for proof of ownership. I faxed the relevant material and was then told that tomtom currently do not support the device and that they would not give me an activation code!! I know that some people have been able to get this software to work on the XDA. I have 7 days to find a solution or I will need to return the device and get a jar jar imate which tomtom support. I am really frustrated with tomtom and this will possible cost more money. Can I get around the activtaion code? Is there a update that tomtom are not aware of? please respond to my email your help would be apprciated. faron.hadfield-jones@hotmail.co.uk
