wireless lan off

When I open wireless lan settings the check box for on is not shown.
How to I fix this? Can it be fixed in the registry?

So my wirless lan option is alway off and I have no way to turn it on.

Go into wireless manager and tap on the WiFi icon to turn it on or off.
