How do I tell if the unlock program was successful?

Hi, I've done the CID unlock and the phone unlock and it was simple as pie.
5 minutes total.

But how do I know it's been successful?

I put an old t-mobile SIM in there and it gave me no error messages. But there isn't any network coverage. But there is no "invalid sim" error. My T-mobile account is inactive.

Borrow one of your mates SIMs for a couple of seconds next time you see them.
