I have tried to boot linux on my blue angel and run opie. I can simply boot the linux but i don't know how to run opie. I have extracted the RootFS on my second drive but i don't know where are the executibles for opie.
Anyone has an idea?

You should take the opie image here:

I have tried it 5 minutes ago, and there is a problem :(
The touchscreen driver is not delivering any data. This opie version works on Universal, but there are other problems there.
I will look into the touchscreen issue now.

As said above, does this combination work as a phone? I've read the project pages and they seem vague to me. :shock:
TIA

There is no opie phone app, afaik.
The phone (voice,SMS) works with GPE:

Is this a viable replacement to the WM2003/WM5 for the BlueAngel? Speed? Interact access? Wi-Fi?
=EDITED=========================================
I found the directions very clear this morning. I MUST start with a Linux/Unix system to format the SD card, correct? Then transfer everything over there.
Has anyone used Gomunicator to make calls?
Wi-Fi?
wifi is not working, but it is the same chipset as in ipaq hx4700, where the people from HP are porting the driver.

Not MUST, but it is the most convenient way.

I was told that voice and SMS works, but have not tried them myself. Too busy with the universal :lol:
