Analogue clock next to Vol/Signal?

The other day this appoinment analogue clock just appeared in the top right corner next to volume and signal why?

Its never been there before and I don't really want it so is there away of removing it? As far as I now I didn't change any settings before it appeared and a soft reset didn't remove it either.
