FYI
I was happily running my XDA-mini-S with SPB Backup v1, Pocket Plus v3.1, Diary v1.7.1 when I got a nice upgrade available notice from SPB.
I installed the upgrade and all my SPB application setting were lost and 1/2 of the Pocket Plus options configuration menus were missing :(
So I restored the back that I had just taken from my storage card all was well again.
I sent a report to SPB who in their usual style send back a quick reply with a new version with a trace so they could PD the problem. Well all was well until I installed the trace version.
The new version did install and all looked the same as before...... I got the trace files ready to send, but while I was 'exploring' via active sync. I thought that there looked like a reduced number of folders on my device.
Oh well I thought, lets do a restore........ AHHHHHAHHHAHHAHAHHHHHHH...... where are the files on the SD card?
Yup - you guessed it, they were all gone. Well I got them back with a restoration program, but the XDA now says they are corrupt and the PC unpacker says they are not SPB Backup files :(
Has anyone already upgraded and seen similar problems, has it worked for anyone?
Anyone got any thoughts of how I can recover my data? I am waiting for SPB advice now before I make my next move.

SPB are at the moment saying its a platform specific problem, so my advice to you is DO NOT UPRADE TO SPB BACKUP v1.1
I hope I can update this tomorrow with some good news.
