Imate BETA ROM - MMS and POP3 Not Working

Has anybody else found this?

I didnt install all the customisations.

I cannot create a POP3 account, it fails on step 4 of 5.

I cannot create an MMS and the account is not present even though MMS configurations is present.

I tried the CAB file from O2 to rebuild the link but that didnt work.

The new ROM has a few CAB's with MMS in the name, so I tried them and still couldnt get it to work.


Just wondering if anybody else had the same experiences, or managed to rectify.

Im not having any of them problems...... maybe the update was corupt in some way??

they are working on my side
you should install all these files from extended rom to enable smart dialing and mms:
Default_MP_Enable_VT_RTPlugin_0727_2_signed.cab
Default_MP_Shortcut-MMS1-JAVA5XX-VOICE-CV-051215.cab
Default_MP_UAProfile_MMSAutoDisconnect_Universal(A KU2.0)_060106.cab
Default_P_SSD_Shortcut_WWE.sa.cab
Default_P_Version_UAProf_Removes.cab

BTW Ive just got push email setup now and its also working fine (takes about 10 seconds to reach my phone! after bouncing around three email address before ariving at the exchange server) so Im VERY happy with this update!

This usually happened after hard-reset. Just re-upgrade your device from PC and don't forget to install this file "Default_MP_Shortcut-MMS1-XXXXXXX-XXXXX.cab"

Yes, I also have that problem with the new i-mate test rom, I think we can create them with the registry keys.

Can someone post their registry keys for a POP3 account? Thanks in advance.
