Please list the things that WORK and do NOT WORK with the new ROM uni_cdl_13068_130153_10900_wwe.

You have to change the System font to somethin else though and then back to Tahoma else you see Wingdings
Use Tweaks 2k2.net to achieve this

The COnnection manager key on the hardware keyboard (Fn+Right Arrow) doesn't do anything anymore

Everything seems to work better and faster on my jasjar, except the fn key combination to turn on the comm mgr. Other than that everything seems to work for me

It can't show date & time on top bar on today screen as it is occupied by the battery icon.
I tried using tweak2k2 to add date & time, it was ok on other screens except "today". On today screen, it shows a broken icon.
May be it is just a simple reg tweak, but waiting to be found... Ideally, I want to see both info.

From what I have seen so far the new ROM has a similar problem than the current official Imate release English ROM 1.13.53 with Bluetooth turning itself off. In connection manager it appears to be on but when entering the settings the tickbox is blank. Has anybody else seen this behaviour or have a workaround? Thank you.

i am having a problem with mms and pop accounts, dont work. others said its just my device, but dont want to hard reset again....

Netfront 3.1 and Netfront 3.2 dont work for me in this version. It just wont open.

I cant get MMS working with O2, was going to try to have a look at it later tonight.

Can't get SPB Pocket Plus software to run in that it installs OK and appears to function without problems but as soon as you do a reset on the universal it hangs when restarting on the windows startup screen.

This appears to be nothing to do with the extended ROM as I also have the same problem when this is not installed.

Does anyone know how to make the extended ROM visible in such a way that the system doesn't create a second "Storage Card" entry. This behaviour occurs when I set the
HKLM\System\StoreageManager\autoload\TRUEFFS_DOC1 bootphase attribute to 2
and because I have installed all my utilities on the SD Card they don't work any more as the SD card gets renamed to "Storage Card1"

Just curious, are you using v.3.1 of SPB Pocket Plus? I never got the problem you say. I have installed SPB on O2, Imate, and QTEK variants of the universal ROM

pocket outlook now polls for email whether you leave it on the said account or not. Oh push email works great!

jorgee: The purchase invoice says 3.0 - naturally I can't look as I don't currently have it installed because of the reset issue.

Never had a problem with the old ROM (German T-Mobile from january)

Really annoying as I love the features this tool has.

U should upgrade to 3.1, you'll notice huge improvement in speed and if i'm not mistaken you'll get free update since you purchased 3.0, just use the old serial number.

I even installed it on extended rom memory without any problem at all, it runs as good as installed in main memory

On my old Qtek 9000 ROM, the data connection automaticly disconnected after checking email, but with this new ROM, the connection stays on.

Anyone knows a way to change this back ??

snap mms isnt working on o2 paygt also in the connection settings the domain is suposed to be payandgo.02.co.uk but you cant fit it all in, if you leave it blank tho it still connects to the net

Log me in, an remote acces application, doesnt seem to work under new ROM, did work under Qtek 1.13.64. (www.logmein.com)

I can't find the reg key to change the length of time the keyboard backlight stays on. I am not sure if the location changed or not, but it isn't where it used to be, at least on mine.

Unlock the Extended Rom delete the Remove CAb that removes the Wireless Today Item
hard Reset again and let Choose your SP. thereafter MMS VideoCalling etc etc would work

Oh well it did on mine

i tried manually installing the cab files, but no luck unfortunately.

i dont know what caused it.

i hard reset and allowed the extended rom to fully install and it worked.

the extended rom didnt appear to be that much of a drain any more on the available resources like the previous, so i'm generally happy with rom overall.

Did anybody ever try to conect to a MS 2003 VPN-Server via L2TP, authenticated by a certificate? I can't understand why they don't fix that issue? Nobody seemed to have a try before me (except NamCE, http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=28706).

For me it never worked. I tried the two German T-Mobile Roms and now the 1.30.68. It's ever the same: VPN connection bubble pops up for a second and then issues an error "VPN Server Problems". But the damn device never even tried to send a real Packet to the Server!!! Of course i checked GPRS or WiFi connection was set up successfully before.

There is only one Exception: If i deactivate the Dialer Skin it works - but only once after soft reset.

L2TP VPN would be great for professional use of the device in enterprise enviromnemt. Without itīs not much more than a toy....

Any idea?
