I have been reading up on the upgrades to blue angel and WM5. For some reason it does not give me a lot of confidence in taking the risk of upgrading the system.

I use the PDA for absolutely everything and dont want it to be a paper weight once im done with the upgrading.

Anyone else have this fear? Did you take the plunge to install it? Did everything work as normal?

Currently TOMTOM 5.1 is the most important software that I use on it. Although, the phone is equally important.

Oh by the way, anyone want tomtom 5.1, let me know, ill hook you up.

Hi

The WM2003->WM2005 and WM2005->WM2003 migration of 100% safe if you follow instructions carefully.

The current best WM2005 for BlueAgel is TuMa 1.3
It's excellent work, but still buggy (and much slower than WM2003).

I flashed to WM2005 and back several times (testing newest WM2005 relases).
I learned that some nice features of WM2005 are not worth all the disadvantages. It's getting better, but just not yet.

Have fun.

yeah, the wm5 is slower than a bit but have more features on it, look nicer...if you're satisfy with your old rom, just keep it then

I've used both versions of WM2005 (Himalaya port an Wizard port) and I just find it too slow when compared to WM2003SE. The BT on WM2005 was terrible which is a main reason I keep to 2003.
I think I can settle with the more "boring" look of 2003 for the sake of reliability.
