Please HELP! Newbie

Hi All

I have a T-Mobile MDA Vario and have unlocked it so I could use my O2 sim card. However even when I set my GPRS settings for O2 I still cannot connect. Is there something else I have to do to allow my o2 sim to use GPRS?

Ok can I ask where I can get an O2 Rom from? I have looked everywhere and I can seem to find it. I would really appreciate it.

You will find the O2 ROM there.

I dont mean to be a pain, but is there any instruction for installing a new ROM? I have used the unlocker to unlock both SIM and CID already so do I just hit the .exe file and run it?

Sorry, but I have a Universal and never had my hands on a MDA Vario. But for me to upgrade my Universal, I just run the ROM update IF it is the same ROM brand. If it is not same brand, meaning a T-Mobile ROM to O2 ROM, I don't know how to doit for the MDA Vario . Sorry

If i was you i would just do a rom update. To do so click here -> ftp://xda:xda@xda-developers.com/Wizard/Roms/Qtek . Download RUU_Prodigy_2080701_101_11310_Qtek_WWE_Test.exe. Then click on that -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=33796 sign up and download lokiwiz - HTC Wizard Unlocker v0.2b from the first post. Unrar the file. Copy Enablerapi.cab to ya phone and run it and wait for it to finish. Then make sure ya phone IS connected to ya pc via active sync and Run Lokiwiz.bat ON YA PC. Type c then press enter. Ya phone should then soft restart. Ya phone is now unlocked. Again make sure ya phone is connected via active sync run File: RUU_Prodigy_2080701_101_11310_Qtek_WWE_Test.exe. Follow the instructions and DONT unplug ya phone.

By the way be carefull when updating rom, as if it is not done correctly ya could bugger ya phone up!

As for GPRS setting i only know the settings for o2 sorry.
