Hi All
Does anyone know how to change the Battery Icon on the new ROM. This is the same screen when I was back using the Hima05.
Hey, Buzz sir, could you give us a flash on this? I have searched for the Reg but without luck.
Thank
Julius

I don't know how to do this, but check this post, it's a small plugin that replaces the standard date/time plugin with configurable format and internet (swatch) time support!! :D

Here's a screenshot of it!

neat :) Though not seeing a download link (might have to be logged in, I suppose). But getting rid of the battery icon altogether would be nicest for the matter at hand

The download file is found near the bottom of the page file name: TodayTimeCab.zip (16.2k)

I can't really give suggestions as I've poured a bunch of cash into a project much like it - figures, two projects that are very much like it pop up right after I do so, and a long time after I openly requested it. That's life eh ? ;)
But here's two bugs
- even though you seem to imply that seconds are accepted, it doesn't seem to update per-second :)
- when installing, add Selectability=1 to make sure users can navigate to the item with the d-pad/arrows and use the OK/enter button to 'tap' it so they can enter the date/time/alarm/etc. controls

True, true... :)

I knew that, I did that on purpose because refreshing the screen that many times didn't seem to be a good option... :(
I'll test this one better and give it some thought ;)

Done!!! :D

Good work! New Battery at TitleBar is really annoying...
A few suggestions, if it is not asking too much :)
- Internet Time should be inserted with proper syntax configuration (for instance 'i, HH:MM' or '@, HH:MM'). This way user could choose to have it or not.
- Font size configuration would be also very welcomed. I use Today font size at the minimum, but for TodayTime I'd like to see it larger.
- When Today screen displays a lot of items and the left scrollbar gets displayed, it overlaps left part of time string :(
I was able to overcome this inserting a few sapces at end of time format string. However it would be nice to have it always right justified.

In order to speed-up confgurations after Hard Resets... I'm installing 'TodayTime' among several other apps, from ExtROM and customize settings via a cab file at ExtROM also.
It happens that 'date' and 'time' format strings are stored into registry, at keys with very unusual names (see bellow).
In fact they include special characters like horizontal TAB (HT) and Vertical TAB (VT), where spaces seem to be.
...it must be something automatically generated...
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Items\ TodayTime]
"RightFormat TodayTime(Software\\Microsoft\\Today\\Items\\Today Time"="HH:mm "
"LeftFormatRightFormat TodayTime(Software\\Microsoft\\Today\\Items\\Today Time"="yyyy MMM dd, ddd"
This causes a lot of problems to loaders (specially the VT), and in fact didn't find a solution yet.
Can't you use more "regular" registry key names!?
e.g.
"RightFormat"
"LeftFormat"

might be good to move the topic of the TodayTime today item to a new thread, and get this thread back on topic: removing the battery icon from the taskbar in AKU2 roms.

That's a bug, it should be as you wrote it!! I'll fix it today :)

You're right! I'll create a new topic on the next update!
