I waited for the availability of my specific official rom (jasjar ita), followed the on screen instruction and everything went well. So it was easy.
From what I sow on line, several people had problems but they got them solved. So it was not risky.
Push e-mail is not my business. Faster screen redraws is not my business. I am monitoring Bluetooth switching itself off and rings delay accumulating in few days of use (resolvable with a soft reset in my case). So I cannot say yet if it was worth.
