Macromedia FLASH 8 [Archive]

Have installed FLASH plugin for Pocket PC 2003, dosen't support FLASH 8 based sites. Couldn't find a FLASH plugin for WM5. Anybody else found a solution for the Universal? :?:

this seems to work on mine!!!Does this enable viewing of flash animations on websites via the PIE broswer (like www.homestarrunner.com/) or is this just to run flash files already saved to your PPC?

i just took some screen shots with a PIE page with flash animations.

so yes, it definatly works 8)

Downloaded and installed, thanks, still doesn't work with a particular site, reports Flash player plugin not installed. Have a look at www.finspreads.com and hit "click here to login" should load their platform or complain about no plugin, fine on my desktop PC. I conclude that FLASH 8 is required, not 6.

Hi

Flash player for the PPC is currently in version 6.

So any site that features Flash content in versions 7 or 8 won't work on this device.

With Flash, you can view content on a web site, but you can also run Flash based programs like this one:
