Just FYI - the core WM OS is exactly the same between the two ROMs.
I'm comparing the radio ROMS now...so far they appear the same as well. The only difference between the two may end up being the customizations.

Ext ROM is locked just like it is with the Imate.

Cool, thanks.... that'll save me playing with it, since I didn't load any customizations on the IMate one :D

can you offer any feedback on differences between the Qtek Test Rom and this Qtek Rom...for example, besides missing bluetooth stereo profile, are there other differences. (i'm still using the test ROM...)

I never used the test ROM. I can say that it is the same as the new Imate ROM, except of course different customizations in the extended ROM. One thing I did note is that by default the battery indicator is both on the top bar and in the sys tray. The new Qtek extended ROM has a cab in it that will remove the sys tray battery icon.

Better it would remove the top bar battery icon... :(
It seems no one likes it, as it hides the clock on Today screen.
It would avoid the need of a space consuming Today plugin to show the time.
