I know that this question can look a bit strange.

I would like to know how can, by IMEI, know what model of universal I am using?

I know that for SPV M5000 the IMEI is 35519, but can anyone tell me for the Imate and O2?

My Qtek has 35519..

My guess is that 35519 has been assigned to the HTC Universal.
I imagine that all motherboards are created with a empty ROM, and sequential IMEI numbers, and then assembled into different branded cases and flashed with a ROM to match the case..

Thus making it impossible to read branding from IMEI.
The IMEI does really just tell you the manufacturer, and HTC maked all of the devices..
