My device died a very, very odd death last night- I was running Word, opening a big word file, and tried to save it. The device crashed, telling me I didn't have enough memory.
I went to start, settings, system, memory, and I had a memory allocation slider again. Storage memory and program memory were devided about the way the ROM/RAM are- 3/2, but I could move the slider about and give myself more program memory or not. It also said wierd things, like saying I had -.06 MB of program memory availible, and to change the slider.
So, *cough*, I did. Then it hung again, and I couldn't leave the today screen, so I soft-reset it. I lost my word document, but I ended up with something else instead!
Now, instead of my Universal having the standard memory allocation, 43.72 MB of Storage total and 47.93 MB of Program total...
I have 43.72 MB of Storage... and 50.16 MB of Program.
No idea where it came from.
Any ideas, thoughts, helpful hints, suggestions?
