In WM5 the WiFi (Wireless LAN) gets disabled when I close the screen (turn it black). I want it to be enabled all the time. How is that possible?

I just recently purchased a Cingular 8125, and I am having the same problem as gein. Does anyone know how to keep the WiFi radio on when the "PDA" goes off? The Bluetooth and GPRS radios already do this (obviously), but I would like the WiFi radio to do this as well.

Registry Hack? Anything? Please?

Thanks!

No you don't.

Your battery would be dead inside of a couple of hours... Wifi is a HUGE power pig.

I'm aware of the power requirements for WiFi, but I still need the radio to stay on for extended times throughout the day. I have already tried modifying the settings in the "Power" applet, but turning off power save in battery mode additionally leaves the display on as well (not the backlight, but the LCD).

If anyone has any information, it would be appreciated.
