soft and hard reset

anyone know how to
1.soft reset
2.hard reset
3.enter bootloader mode
4.exit bootloader mode

been scouring this forum. doesnt seem to be posted.

Dont know about 3 & 4 but 1 & 2 are easy

1. Soft Reset
Poke the stylus into the little hole in the bottom left of the unit. Holding no other buttons. Another way is to remove the batter cover and flip the red switch back and then forth.

2. Hard reset
Poke the styles like above but hold the power button whilst poking.

anyone know why mine only resets when the power button is pressed and the red battery thingy is opened then closed.
