Changing keyboard language not working?

Hi there!

I have a little problem:

I upgraded to the AKU2 and A2DP enabled Qtek ROM and since I got a German slide keyboard I wanted to switch the keyboard language using the common registry method.

However, every time I soft reset, the "Locale" key is gone and keyboard layout remains US.

Other registry changes (like using bt headsets for music) work just fine. I just can't seem to get the German keyboard layout running...

Anyone got an idea?

Are you sure you waited some time before soft resetting after changing the registry value.
To be sure you can turn the device off and on instead of soft resetting.

But it definitily still works in AKU2.
