does anyone know if adata my flash 4GB 200X Turbo MMCplus card are single layer cell construction like transcend? i had a sandisk ultra 2gb sd but it stopped working the other day. people on here seem to think mmc is the way to go with regards to stability so i first thought of a transcend mmc but they are only avaladle up to 2gb at the moment. I would prefer a lifedrive sized 4g  should i spend my money on the big adata mmc or the big transcend sd?

decided to go with the big mmc in the end. got a 4gb adata 200x turbo mmc from[http://www.emartbuy.co.uk/products.php?prodid=146 saw one on ebay for £60 but someone beat me to it but i didn't think £94 was too bad. just went for standard postage and it came next day. my alturion uk map is now on it and after a half hour drive everything is working well. got a problem with films on tcpmp though. stuttering sound through the loudspeaker anyone else had this? there was no stuttering whit my sandisk ultra 2gb but that broke.

now games that are not even on the card have stuttering sound too. namely age of empires and bubble blaster both from zio soft. is this to do with the big card? it still skips when the card is removed. bloody tempramental ppc's

managed to sort the stuttery sound. changed a registry entry with resco registry editor. in case anyone else gets this problem the offending entry can be found at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev.priorit y256 just click on the entry and a new screen will pop up, i changed the DWORD Data entry from 256 to 128 and then ok at the top this wil then give a warning but it will work so just accept then your value should now be 0x80(128) and no more skipping. hope this helps someone out.
