Good Morning XDA FORUM..
After having my xda 2i for a little over a year and been lurking around this forum pretty much since i got the thing,
I finally decided to upgrade my rom to the Pug special, with all the O2 guff ripped out + camera upgrade..!!
i'm slightly concerned as it never went as described by many others..??
got everything all set up put the 2i in the cradle hit the button then.........
waiting on it failing as described...... never happened..?? just kept loading till completion..?? then done hard (cold) reset as requested and it all seems good....
So my question is.. why no fail and is that it then.? it seems fine so far..!!
the reason i did the update is that i let the thing go flat about 2-3 weeks ago left the damn thing in the car with the bluetooth on overnight,
when i put the charger in it rebooted without the O2 stuff like a corp install but not..????? was able to do stuff like turn on flight mode and still use my bluetooth gps unit for tomtom..???? is this normal..???
Second question is i'm due an upgrade the choices are either an xda mini s for free or an xda exec for a ton..?? not sure which to go for..????
any feedback welcome ladies and gents...
