After alot of messing arounf with an XDA EXEC i realised i preffered my XDA IIs, and after more messing around trying to get Tom Tom5 back on it and working it sorted it.

But now Tom Tom keeps loosing its memory? I add favourites, and my home, exit the program, come straight back in and its gone????

I did have to mess with the onboard memory allocation to get it to run smooth (dedicating more to programs than storage, but even now when i i have changed it back the fault still occurs?!?!?!

Any ideas guys?

Sounds like the file where these are stored is set to Read Only. I think it's a *.cfg file somewhere.

There are tools here http://www.tomtom.com/support/ce/support/nav_poi.php for creating POI's out of Text documents that you may find helpful.

and look here for something that uses Excel but is blocked by my work proxy http://www.gpsinformation.org/penrod/poiloader/poiloader.html so no idea how good it is.

As for the latest speed camera's then yes you can get them at Pocketgps.co.uk for a whopping £2, which will hardly break the bank.
