now way to get my mda connected to AS 4.1

Hi there

I've upgraded my mda to 2005 and have problems to get AS connected.
all tricks decribed in this forum didn't work :-(
usb conncetion is available and driver installed on the PC
recognized the device as mobile network ndis device.
firewall is disabled (bitdefender)
MS security center is also disabled !
serveral images tested (english /German + 0 ramdrive + 32mb ramdrive)
i don't know how to continue !

after fallback to 2003 AS connects perfectly !

please help !

Are you sure that all firewall stuff has been disabled ?

Did you try to ping the ip address of the pda ?

just try ping 169.254.2.1 to see if you can reach the pda.

If you can't, well somewhere it's blocked by something. Don't forget that the UPnP protocol is used by the pda, just check if Upnp is enabled...

upnp service was disabled ! :wink:
but after that it still didn't work.

I assigned the following ip to the PC 169.254.2.2

on the ppc i assigned ip 169.254.2.1
netmask 255.255.0.0
default gate 169.254.2.2

still ping not working :evil:

after that i figured out that tcpip for the mobile network card was not enabled :shock:

shit happens !

not everything works fine
