View Full Version : Card Export 2.15 Works! (at least for Mac users!)

Softick released Card Export 2.15 today and recommended I try it. Sure enough, it works, even on my Mac! There is a catch however, you must enable the following option in Preferences -> Hardware:

- Use Dumb Endpoint

(Alt Init Order may also help if you're having issues, but on my Mac it made no difference either way)

I have attached the .cab since it seems only an exe is available on the website, this should be useful for other Mac users without VirtualPC.

Nope, doesnt work with my T-Mobile MDA Vario with latest Qtek ROM.
Same problem as v2.12, it hangs when you get the balloon with 'Found new USB device'. I used an Acer Travelmate laptop with Windows XP Pro with latest patches.

Works like a dream, solved part of my mac/WM5 problems, now sync to entourage is the only one left...

Do not suppose you got a wondersolution to that Sprezzatura :P
I mean MissingSync and PocketMac does not yet.

I had the same issue until i read a post on the Softick forum. Softick support and another user suggested enabling a combination of "Alt init order" and "Use dumb endpoint" in Card Export Preferences (Hardware tab) as with what sprezzatura posted above.

Now i can use the software perfectly and can swap to / from ActiveSync & Card Export with no problems and no soft resets are required (except for the mandatory reset immediately after installing Card Export) :D

p.s. I have tested this and it works for me on every Dell, Toshiba & Clone PC / Laptop i have.

Wicked Shit !!

v2.15 works perfect with those 2 settings. Great stuff !!
