View Full Version : 8125 doesnt have an mms account after cingular 2.17 upgrade

What cabs do i install from the cingular extended rom to get the mms account up and running. I just recently installed the cingular 2.17 custom rom ( not by summiter) and now I dont have a mms account, but i CAN go into messages and see the mms config. The account just wont show up? Any HELP PLEASE?

you have had no feedback w/ your 2.17 rom regarding mms have you? about to flash in a few days when i get my memory card. also, summiter... do you plan on making another 2.17 the same as the one you just made but adding a2dp?

Unfortunately no. I made one based on the 2.08 ROM because it's proving to be very difficult to pull the A2DP stuff out and add to 2.17. The dependencies on multiple dll's and registry settings is pretty complex.

maybe you can use the

CAB-Shortcut-Cingular-MMS-account-16Oct05.cab and the Signed_MMSGUID_HotFix.sa.cab that are located in the Cingular Extended ROM.
