He is/was using a PRE-production device, which, indeed had AD2P. But there were too many problems with it, so in the final version, it was left out.

I've read this somewhere and can't remember where :-)

Dit is er door HTC (en dus niet door Orange) uit gehaald omdat dit profiel op dit moment te veel fouten bevat. Het A2DP profiel maakt het mogelijk om een Bluetooth stereo headset aan te sluiten op het device om op die manier draadloos van muziek en andere geluiden te kunnen genieten. Het A2DP profiel zal hoogstwaarschijnlijk wel in de AKU2.2 ROM versie zitten, de opvolger van de AKU2.0 ROM. Overigens missen ook de Qtek S200 en i-Mate JAMin dit A2DP profiel en is het dus niet alleen de M600 die het mist."

It's basicly saying they removed the A2DP profile because it contained too may errors and there will most likely be an A2DP profile in the future AKU2.2 ROM.
