New Update ROM of Dopod818Pro from Dopod

After checking with Dopod website today, there was new updated version Dopod818Pro ROM released by today. There was email push support and improvement of Communicaton Mgr. I suspect this version stilll cannot AD2P. Our users still need to wait. Pls be patient!

Did anybody know when AD2P (AKU2) will be released by HTC or Microsoft soon?

Why O2 Atom can support AD2P but not Dopod WM5 device?

Is Quanta more aggressive for O2? Need to push HTC expedite AKU2 to be launched ASAP!!

i just updated the Dopod 818 pro HK version chinese rom today..
it seems to be a bit faster than before..
but i need to reinstall all the program..as the backup didn't work to the new rom

anyway ..still need to wait for A2DP....

Hey, looks like you flashed your prophet with the test ROM. How is it? I just did my with the lastest JAMin, so not sure whether I want to reflash with another new one.
My dopod now hangs very often with the latest JAMin ROM. Not sure if it is the OS or some 3rd party software I installed. If this Dopod ROM is stable, I may try it.

I just tested it. It is a AKU2.0 English Version which same as Chinese Version. No A2DP.

Here is some information after refresh this test ROM

I think AD2P profile still was not yet ready from Dopod. Stay tune and wait again.

The new version ROM seemed to be stable with new Comm Manager interface. It takes time to evaluate if this was a stable ROM version.

As far as concerned, there was no official schedule from Dopod on AK2U patch update so far. It was a bit disappointed.

Use Resco explorer or other file explorer to rename wavedev.dll in \Windows to other name and soft reset. This will restore the original audio driver file back.

i have manage to flash my rom from 1.0.1.13 english to 2.15.13.24 chinese version. I also manage to downgrade to 1.0.1.13. it just took me 10 minutes for the upgrade and downgrade process.

i manage to flash my dopod (prophet) from rom version WWE1.0.1.13 to rom version 2.15.13.24CHT. i also manage to downgrade it to WWE1.0.1.13. i have to problem with any process.

is your device country code unlocked? have you tried using the bootloader? :shock:

use aWizard to unlock the CID first

boot your device into the bootloader mode and you can reflash your rom. just need to lock your CID first.

when you update your rom version is not shown. can just update it.

Hello,

i have flashed my German O2 Neo with this TestROM and it works fine ;)

Therfore i test the Jamnin and it was not so fine, the QTEK i cant flash to my Neo because he began to flash and at 1 percent he break and the ROm on the Neo is deleted.

From using the Neo with the new ROM i think he is a little bit faster then the German O2 ROM but a Bench with TCPMP says the O2 ROM is the fastest without overclocking the Neo, when i overclock him it is ca. the same speed. For the Bench i use always the same Video and at 168 mhz it has ~ 57% with O2 ROM and ~48% with the Jamnin or Dopod. With overclocking at 240 mhz it is with all roms ~75-79%.

Have someone made an Bench with QTEk, Dopod ROM... and can upload the results and the video he have used?
