Hello I am a newbie and I need your help. I have cingular 8125 i have unlocked the cid and unlocked the phone and i have downloaded the qtek test rom to get a A2DP profile for bluetooth can you please tell me how to install or upgrade a rom thanks

Howdy newbie.

Start by reading the threads that announce the various ROMs. Also use the search function to find useful messages on the process. In addition, read up on what the various components of a ROM flasher are (it's really several things...OS, bootloader, customizations, etc). Also understand what can go wrong and how to recover from problems. Then, go back and read it all again so that you understand that changing ROMs isn't a casual affair, it has risks. Choose your ROM carfully - most are customized for a specific carrier. All of the ones that I built are for Cingular.
