XDA MINI S LARGER ICONS

I have a m8 who has brought the xda mini s but does have poor vision
I can see you can make the fonts bigger, but is there any way of making the icons bigger

Not "out of the box", I don't think. Consider using a program like Spb Pocket Plus, or Wisbar, or another interface enhancement, which can use larger icons.
I believe if you use Spb and install a VGA theme (rather than a qVGA one) you'll end up with massively oversized icons! So, that might be a start.
