Can´t sync using bluetooth

My Xda Exec doesn´t find the sync service on my laptop or desktop bluetooth devices. My old PDAs used to work fine on those computers using activesync3.8, but the new activesync 4.1 has done nothing useful, in fact everything seems worse. Of course the computers find the Xda and I added it to the bluetooth device list, but the relevant com ports don't appear on the connection settings in activesync.

I think the older interface from wm2003 was easier and nicer, and it actually worked!

Has anyone had similar issues and know any solution to this please?

Mine seems to be generally awkward about bluetooth. Simple options such as 'send via bluetooth' are notthing like as simple as they ought to be.

Mine absolutely will not synch via bluetooth, but I just assumed that was me being pants.
