View Full Version : ActiveSync doesn't recognize my device after upgrade to WM5

My SX66 can Sync with my desktop when I was using WM2003. After I upgraded my SX66 to WM5, the ActiveSync 4.1 doesn't recognize my device. I know the device was connected to my desktop, because it showed up message said "windows mobile based device has been installed and ready to use" when I put SX66 to the cradle. Can anyone help?

Go to settings/network connection for your PDA device.
You need to check Internet Protocol (TCPIP) if it is not already.
This solved it for me, but there have also been reports of MS firewall blocking the connection. Ensure it allows ActiveSync through!
