No, It doesnt come with sim Unlocked. You need to use the software to unlock it.

Mine was unlocked when I bought it. Brand new from an O2 shop.

Both that I have got from O2 (1 from a shop, and 1 online) were not sim locked. They may well lock them in the future though.

I thought mine was SIM unlocked. Heck everything seems unlocked and I got it from the O2 e store. Any quick way to tell if I'm SIM locked? :?

Put in a non-o2 sim and see if you can connect to the network. If so, you are unlocked and ready to rock.

If not, your device is locked and you'll need the tools from this site to sort that out :)

O2 supply all Contract phones unlocked now, think they realised there was no point in locking the phones as you are tied into a 12-18month contract anyway
