Thumb drive on JJ USB

Has anybody ever tried to read a thumb drive (pen drive) through JJ's USB port using a mini USB adapter? I tried to find anything in different forums, but did have any luck! Essentially I'm trying to read a pen drive that I don't want to transfer to my SD card all the time.

not possible. The Universal doesn't have a USB host interface.
