Opera - trial expired

I had a problem when I installed Opera, and had to put in the correct date and now I'm being told that my trial has expired. Does anyone have a work around; or do I have to buy it?

Are you sure you have the very latest release (v8.5b2)? If you do, the trial should end in June

The problem was that when I installed it (after upgrading my ROM) the date was 2005. I then updated the date and left myself up a creek.
