QTEK 9000 DEAD

Bought this phone a day ago. Applied the rom UNI_QTEK_13077_176_10900_WWE_Ship.exe and now the phone is dead.

Hard reset results in "press 0 to erase and X to cancel".

Checked other postings and nothing worked so far. Please help me.

YESH YOU SHOULD PRESS 0!
i had the same thing haha don't worry it's a good thing..it just means it hard resets the phone to the new ROM, so not to worry! it's still alive and kicking! 8)

Just retry the update. Even if you don't see anything on your screen.
More people had this and fixed it.

Just calm down. Your messages are very vague. You need describe your situation better so that others can help you.

What do you mean by dead? Can you see "Serial" on the screen that you believe is black? If so, it's not dead yet. Try this;

Explain nothing worked. What did you exactly do??

I think your bootloader is v0.56.
Try to change the bootloader to v1.00.
You will change your rom to any version.

had something similar.. weirdest thing was.. i almost gave up.. went to my other pc and tried it to update there.. and voila worked like a dream?

Seems xp can be a bit buggy.. My advise is to also try it on another pc!
