I' using XDA Neo,rom Imate, anyone tests this new rom Dopod Pro 818 with XDA Neo ?! does it work better than rom imate ?!

you need to use awizard to unlock the country code (CID).

YOu then need to enter the bootloader to flash your rom to an english version.

Just keep note that this will void you local waranty.

you can just unlock the CID using awizard. then you can reflash the rom using the bootloader.

Just press the camera button and press the soft reset button.

Just hold on to the camera button and release the reset button.

it will appear 3 colours. Connect the USB to your device and your ready to flash your ROM.

i encounter problem during reflash- invalid vender id.

i follow the step.

1. Run awizard.cmd
2. press E to enable RAPI
3. press U to Unlock CID
my propet will restart
4. i press the camera and reset to go into boot loader mode
5. i run RUU_818Pro_2151324_21513110_021921_DOP_ASIA_CHT_Sh ip.exe
which download from ftp server.
6. I follow the instruction on screen and later i get and invalid vender id error.

With DOS screen CID unlock successfully, it is not confirmed that it's really unlocked.

You may confirm by using romupdate.exe or mtty1.42.exe to run backup rom to sd card. (Your sd card will be formated all data deleted).

Cmd>r2sd all

If there is no error. It means that your prophet CID unlock.

By the way, if your prophet has IPL/SPL 2.xx.0001, lokiwiz or awizard are unable to unlock CID yet (later maybe possible). But it's the way upgrade rom, you may read the concept and get rom from http://en.pdamobiz.com/en/forum/PDAforum_posts.asp?TID=440&PN=1
